  • Coordinated an Advisory Program that was flexible in design to address the needs of our students and facilitates the connection to a caring adult in the building who will foster a relationship over 5 years.

  • Developed a professional learning network (PLN) of over 1800  educators with whom I learn from on Twitter and share with through my participation in "educhats" 
  • I have also grown a network of followers on my personal Twitter account and @mineolahs account where we share the amazing work happening with the community and world. 
  • We have also transitioned our school newspaper to FusFoo, a national network of school newspapers. where we currently have 125 articles posted.
  • I have recently added an Instagram account to further reach our student community on a social media platform they are more connected to. 
  • Hosted schools from across Nassau and Suffolk counties and internationally to look at our 1:1 environment, flexible classrooms, library media center, and Fabrication Lab
  • I have been an active volunteer for the Boomer Esiason Foundation for over 20 years.
